What is Laser Hair Removal?
Laser hair removal is a process by which unwanted hair is removed from the body using laser energy. The laser energy travels down the hair shaft to the root, where it damages the hair follicle and prevents future hair growth. Laser hair removal can be used on any body part, including the face, neck, chest, back, arms, legs, and bikini area.
If you’re tired of ingrown hairs, waxing, shaving or tweezing and are wanting a more permanent option, then Laser Hair Removal may be the solution you’re looking for. This treatment is very safe and can be effective for all skin types and almost any area of the body.
FDA approved laser technology can now take care of their unwanted hair safely, affordably and permanently. Laser hair removal can be effectively used on almost any area of the body. Whether you desire hair free smooth underarms, face, bikini, back or chest, you can see incredibly smooth and permanent hair removal results with laser technology.
Duration of the treatment can take anywhere between a few minutes to less than an hour depending on the area where you want to get your hair removed. Depending on the body part and hair growth, we plan the frequency of the treatments. However, to achieve the best results, we recommend a series of treatment.
Purpose
The laser targets the melanin in the hair follicle. The melanin absorbs the energy from the laser and destroys the hair follicle. This leaves the hair shaft intact, so it falls out gradually over time. Common treatment areas include legs, armpits, upper lip, chin, and the bikini line. However, it's possible to treat unwanted hair in nearly any area, except the eyelid or surrounding area.
